Last year she remembered my B-D and send me 2 pounds See's Candy gift certificate and this coming Friday is her B-D.

it's always nice to get flowers on b-d, esp. in the office. the anonymity keeps the suspense and excitement (although I guess you could tell her you sent them later on)
