I have no kids so don't really have a clue as to what 2-yr olds like; brother lives in another city and I see him and the kid 2-3 times a year; the kid likes anything car-related, can speak Chinese and English

giving train toys or books both your brother and son can enjoy together.

I don't know your brother, but I know 2 yrs old boys all love trains (think about Thomas & his friends) and construction trucks (Bob the builder). If you don't know which toys to pick, picture books are always good.
